The longer cables came in handy as I was able to put the satellite speakers at either end of the bedroom.
I put the sub under my bed, which seems to be the best place for being able to feel the bass. Since I knew that I'd need longer cables, I just ordered some. I've read some of the reviews and saw that people complained about the length of the cables. I wasn't looking for earth shaking sound, but I want something where I can feel some bass and hear the distinct highs and mids. The soundbar doesn't really fill the room with sound the way I would like.
